--By Womi Kere The people of Ekori community in Yakurr local Government area of Cross River State, have expressed exhilaration over the resumption of banking activities in their community by first Bank of Nigeria plc, who for over three years seized operations in it's Ekori branch, a situation that became of concern to the Royal fathers, business owners and people of Ekori who are customers of the Bank. Hon. Victor Kejuo Emerge Speaker Of Cross River State Youth Parliament 2nd Assembly.

The 2nd assembly of the Cross River State youth Parliament has held it inaugural sitting today at the Cross River State House of Assembly complex in Calabar. The inauguration which held with twenty three new members out of twenty five to represent their constituencies where led to the nomination of the member representing Boki 1 constituency, Hon. Victor kejuo as Speaker of the Parliament by Hon. Festus Azogor-member representing ABI state constituency, and nomination was unanimously adopted by the house while the member representing Calabar South 2 State Constituency, Hon. Pamela Ekpenyong was also nominated and voted in as Deputy Speaker of the house. The newly inaugurated speaker in his speech assured the people that the 2nd Assembly of the CRS youth parliament will bring equal development to the various constituencies as all services expected of them will be carried out effectively and appropriately.
