EXHILARATION ENGULF EKORI COMMUNITY IN YAKURR AS FIRST BANK RESUME FOR OPERATIONS IN THE COMMUNITY, BRANCH MANAGER ASSURED CUSTOMERS OF OPTIMUM SERVICE DELIVERY.

The people of Ekori community in Yakurr local Government area of Cross River State, have expressed exhilaration over the resumption of banking activities in their community by first Bank of Nigeria plc, who for over three years seized operations in it's Ekori branch, a situation that became of concern to the Royal fathers, business owners and people of Ekori who are customers of the Bank.


As the Bank resumed it's operations, the Monarch, Chiefs and people of Ekori appreciated the management and staffs of the Bank for re-opening the Ekori branch for business operations to commence, after a long term of their inactivity in Ekori which gave rise to several interface between the council of Chiefs and management of the Bank seeking for the bank to resume it's halted activities in the community.

 Further more, the Obol Lopon of Ekori, HRM Obol Donatus Ofem adjured the people of the community, son's and daughters of Ekori, business men doing business in the community, farmers and transporters to ensure they Open accounts and transact wholly with the bank, stating that the re-opening of the bank is a howling and historic achievement geared at enhancing the development of Ekori community.


Not left out were words of appreciation uttered by the Chiefs and people of Ekori to both Mr. Akpama Uket and Mr. Okori Ekwe whom strenuous efforts and resources they have exerted facilitated the re-opening of the bank in Ekori, while the people prayed for them and assured them of their continuous prayers and support when needed for being illustrious Son's who bear the interest of their community at heart.

The Bank manager assured the community of effective and optimum service delivery while he encouraged them to take advantage of the bank's banking services and open accounts with the bank for themselves, their businesses, children and even churches as the bank is there to serve them and have numerous profitable banking packages for all class of persons, corporate bodies and the entire public.



The royal father's offered their special prayers of progress and sustainance of the bank, as the ceremony was graced with different display of cultural dances by youths, women and children groups to celebrate the re-opening of the bank.

Present at the bank re-opening ceremony was the Obol Lopon of Ekori, HRM Obol Donatus Ofem and his council of Chiefs, the NYCN Ekori central Chairman-Comr. Okon Samuel, Clergy men, women and youths across the community who all participated in the ceremony.
