NYCN Southern Stakeholders Meet In Calabar, Emphasize Synergy And Transparency Amongst Young Leaders

In a bid to foster youth development in the Southern Senatorial District of Cross River State, stakeholders of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) from the seven local government areas that make up the district met in Calabar on Saturday, March 29, 2025. The meeting served as a platform to discuss critical issues affecting young people in the region and explore solutions pivotal to advancing youth development. In his opening remarks, the convener, Comr. Benjamin Edet, who currently serves as the Vice Chairman (South) of NYCN in Cross River State, highlighted the council’s role in tutoring, developing, and preparing young people for greater responsibilities.
