CRS: NYCN State Chairman Distribute's Rice To Youth Structures, Extol Governor Bassey Otu's Magnanimity To Youth Of The State


The State Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria(NYCN) His Youthfulness Obol Comr. Emmanuel Olayi has expressed gratitude to the Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency Apostle Senator Bassey Edet Otu and his wife for their magnanimity towards the youths of Cross River State. 

The NYCN State chairman made the expression yesterday at the Cross River Youth House in Calabar during the distribution of bags of rice received by the Council from Governor Bassey Otu as New year package for the youth of Cross River State. further stated that, His Excellency Apostle Senator Bassey Otu, since his inception as Governor has been indubitably intentional about youth welfare and has prioritize the affairs of the youth through sponsoring programmes that have improved the lives of youths across the State. He Equally shared that he recently led the entire Youth Structure on a courtesy to Governor, who graciously received them and reassured the youth leaders of his commitment towards Youth development.
Comr. Olayi also welcomed Cross River youth to the year 2025 which promises to be a productive and prosperous year for the people, charged Cross River youth to remain focused, resilient and work with objectivity through out the year, creating entrepreneurial initiatives that leads to their individual and economic development of the state, promoting peace, Harmony and tranquility while contributing their energy to the safeguarding and maintenance of Government infrastructures.

The beneficiaries appreciated the Governor for his public - spiritedness that has engendered continuous spread of his love across the state with special interest for the youth and assured him of unflinching support from the constituency of the youths of Cross River State. they also applauded the NYCN State chairman for his sincerity, transparency, innovative and team spirit that has brought about invaluable achievements to the council.

His Youthfulness Comr. Olayi also extended special appreciation to the SSG of the State Prof. Anthony Owan Enoh who chaired the State Government committee on the distribution of Food palliatives, the Commissioner for youth development Barr. Ijom Ukam and the SSA to the Governor on youth Mobilization Comr. Daniel Obo for the integral support they have offered the youth overtimes, assured them of mutual working relationship from the executive and members of NYCN in Cross River State.
Beneficiaries of the Rice gift includes, NYCN State and local Government executives, VYO's, YAN, NANS, NACRISS, SOCRISS, Non - Indeginous youth groups, people living with disabilities, Cross River youth in politics, youth Congress, girls in power, CENSA, SUG, media practitioners, neighbors around the youth house premises and many others.
