Olayi Leads Delegation Of Young Cross Riverans To Ground Breaking Ceremony, Laud Gov Bassey Otu's Humane Leadership.
His Youthfulness Obol Comr. Emmanuel Olayi State Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria in Cross River State, has lauded the Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency Sen.Prince Bassey Otu for bringing Governance closer to the people.
Comr. Olayi who welcomed the Governor and the Cross River State Executive Council to Ogoja the headquarters of the Northern Senatorial District for the ground breaking ceremony of the Governor's Lodge on Saturday 30th November,2024, said Governor Bassey Otu during the campaigns had made several promises to the people of Northern Cross River and has redeemed a large number of his promises through life impactful projects , enlisted the several roads constructed in northern Cross River by Governor Otu and other laudable projects that are beneficial to the people, thereby bringing relief and happiness to them.
He appreciated the Governor for his unrelenting efforts towards infrastructural development and human capacity building in northern Cross River, which has engendered the ground breaking of the Governor's lodge at Ogoja. Further thanked him for always granting the request of the council for engagement of youths in every projects. promised that the youths will through out the duration of the project ensure the security of equipments, materials and even humans till it's completion.
The NYCN Chairman concluded his speech with expression of deep appreciation to Governor Otu for reviewing the subvention of the council and making payment as promised. He assured the Governor of immense support from the Council and entire young people of Cross River State as the council is dedicated to every programs of Governorment that will make him succeed in his administration.
Present at the event were, the Executive Governor of Cross River State His Excellency Sen.Prince Bassey Edet Otu and his deputy Rt Hon. Peter Agbe Odey, members of the State Executive council, the Chief of Staff to the Governor; Hon. Emmanuel Ironbar, Traditional Rulers, top Government Functionaries, Religious leaders, NYCN State and Local Government executive, youth, women and Students groups.
