CRS Consumer Protection Agency Seek Collaboration With NSCDC For Effective Operations.

The Cross River State consumer protection agency has expressed readiness to battle producers of fake, substandard and expired consumables. The Director General of the agency, Dr. Charles Utsu Ushie who was accompanied by directors of the agency to pay a courtesy visit on the State commandant of the Cross River State command of the Nigerian security and civil defense corps(NSCDC), emphasized on the dire need for collaboration between the agency and the NSCDC, mentioned that the consumer protection agency is under the purview of the NSCDC for intensive security during enforcement by staff of the agency and further appealed to the State commandant to extensively inform his officers at the local Government area offices to be proactive In aiding the agency perform it's enforcement successfully.
