C'River Golfers Celebrate Governor Bassey Otu, Commissioner Assured Them Of Governor's Support.

The Commissioner for Sports development in Cross River State, Hon. Agnes Atsu has said the optimum impact of the Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency Sen.Prince Bassey Edet Otu's administration is felt all over the state, including those in the rural areas.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on sports development' Hon. Ekanem Ekpenyong and the permanent secretary of the ministry' Mr.Samuel Egbala on Wednesday 12th June 2024, accompanied the Honorable commissioner to represent the Governor His Excellency Sen.Prince Bassey Edet Otu at the Calabar Golf Club, where golfers gathered to celebrate the Governor on his one year in office.

The commissioner extolled the golfers for the love demonstrated towards the Governor by celebrating him, stated the Governor's exceptional performance in the State and assured the golfers of Governor Otu's support to them.

The vice president of the golfers club, Captain Jerome Agba (Rtd) described Governor Otu as number one golf player in the State.

Dignitaries at the event were, the Hon commissioner for sports development, Hon. Agnes Atsu, the SA to the Governor on sports development Hon. Ekanem Ekpenyong, the permanent secretary of Ministry of Sports development Mr. Samuel Egbala, the director for sports, the club Capt. Maj. Gen Am Sabo (Rtd) represented by Club vice captain Capt Ukel Agba(Rtd) the Secretary Sam Onah Esq, the former deputy Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency Effiok Cobham Esq, and other golfers.
